This was originally a couple sentences under the link I’ve posted above these words, which may or may not be there when you’re looking at this. Rachel Maddow of MSNBC reported that The Trump Administration has fired solid good people who work for the US Government. Why? Cuz Trump says so. That’s why. No one’s supposed to challenge that. Well. Maddow is, and so should the rest of us. Anyway, those couple sentences that I ended up not posting at YouTube? They have ended up here instead.

“Has it occurred to any of you, to maybe resign?”

She’s just putting that out there. “People have resigned for much smaller sins and much less damage to their country than this.” Fifty years ago Nixon did a terrible thing, owned up to it, and walked quietly away in shame. Half a century ago, and now we’re back to this, but worse, and with people far less decent than Richard Effing Nixon. History repeating. Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it, and in this case, worse ten fold. Whether they are honestly just incompetent, or they’re doing this to intentionally irrevocably decimate the entire US political system, Trump and his cronies are terrible at it and they should resign. They should have never been allowed in the Oval in the first place.

If I just got on a plane and flew to DC and waltzed into The White House uninvited and sat down in that chair, moved some papers around, maybe signed something. I would be forcibly grabbed by security personnel and dragged out of the building and onto the street, if they didn’t just immediately put me in a jail cell. Why? I’m an American citizen! I was born inside these borders! I HAVE A RIGHT TO THAT CHAIR!

No I do not, and neither should “The Trump Administration.”

When I was a kid, the teachers told us that anyone ANYONE in America could grow up and become the president. Truth is, it’s not that easy.

There’s two ways to go about it. Here’s the first one: You spend your life being a US Citizen and understanding all that entails, then get a bunch of other Americans to agree with you and want you in that catbird seat. That’s one way to do it. Helps if you oh gee I don’t know READ THE US CONSTITUTION AND UNDERSTAND THE DAMNED THING! Maybe educate yourself and get why the Founders of this country wrote that Constitution in the first place.

Apparently, the other way, is to lie and cheat and steal and use questionably obtained resources to barter and bribe your way into that seat, with a bunch of other unscrupulous people (who may or may not even be Americans themselves) backing your play. Then once you’re there, you tear the whole thing down so you and your buddies can do whatever the hell you want! Fire anyone who might try to stop you from robbing the coffers of the United States Government!

That’s the American Way! That’s Making America Great Again! You’re All Fired! Gimme your paychecks! Have they considered resigning? No. They have not. Why? Cuz that’s not their game. This is their game. COOKIES!!! Om nom nom nom nom!
