we love our snow tires…

Rick and I decided that the greatest purchase we have made in Vermont is our snow tires! They have been our most reliable friends and we simply can’t live without them! There is no way you can be a Vermonter and not own snow tires…unless your best friend owns a tow-truck! Well, it snowed and we had to dig out our car from the snow this morning. While scraping the snow, Rick said, “So, do you still love Vermont?!” I was like, “Totally…this is why I love Vermont!” (I even packed my snow shoes…just in case I would be having to hike into work today. I didn’t have to use them and I was disappointed.)

Every Thursday I drive past this ice formation on the freeway. I am so captivated by it that it has become a distraction and I fear I may drive off the road. It’s amazing!

Anyway, Vermont is beautiful after a fresh snow storm. This morning, I was driving on the freeway, behind a semi-truck. The snow was blowing off the truck, creating a white fluffy cloud in front of me. The road started to climb and I felt like I was being elevated into snow heaven! The music of John Williams “Hook” only added to the moment and I couldn’t help but smile and say, “This is what life is all about!” It was glorious!

I have a client that lives out in the “woods” and from their property is a wonderful view of an open meadow. This picture doesn’t do justice…guess you’ll have to come out here and see for yourself!

I feel so blessed to be living in such a beautiful place I can call “home”. It’s perfect here. I will cry and throw a fit when we have to leave!

  1. Those pics are so beautiful. It doesn’t look very fun to scrape your car out, but the rest is so nice to look at.
