Go West

Bridgette and I made a trip to Utah to see my mom speak at BYU’s Women’s Conference and it was incredible! I learned so much from her and I have been thinking about it ever since!

We also celebrated my sister’s 30th birthday!

This pretty lady is engaged to be sealed in the temple on August 23rd, 2012! YAY!!

(Oh, yes he did!)

We are so happy for you Megan and Eddie!

Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters…

Bridgette and I made a trip to see my twin sister, Annika, at her salon so she could whack off all my hair.

Bridgette had a few moments in the salon chair as well.

Rock on, little B!

I was also able to see a friend of 20 years, whom I haven’t seen in two years. We both have baby girls and it was awesome to meet her daughter Jane.

Here are the two little ladies, eating strawberries.

We spent a lot of time playing with cousins:

And playing with plastic lions

and being just plain silly!

(Yes, this is the first day this one year old got on all fours!)

We had a great trip and can’t wait to see our family again in August, for the wedding!

My sister Morgan and her daughter Kate

Cousin Charlie

And here is a little clip of Bridgette with her cousin Henry in the park:

Bridgette Survives Her First Year of Life!

Here’s the birthday girl in her Sunday dress, ready to party!

She got a top that sings

A Radio Flyer trike

And a piece of raw chocolate mouse pie

that I think she liked.

A tribute to her is found here.

Happy Birthday Bridgette!

We love you, B!

Easter Dinner

We had a lovely weekend Easter weekend and enjoyed watching Bridgette coo over her Easter basket.

Papa is helping Bridgette with her basket and showing her the bunny ears. He’s the best papa!

We headed to Milwaukee to enjoy a classy Easter dinner with our dear friends.

Holly, you never disappoint! Home made rolls with cheese, spinach salad, carrot-ginger soup, deviled eggs with bacon, spiral-cut mustard glazed ham, roasted red potatoes with artichoke hearts and a sparkly bevy to pucker everyone’s lips. So delicious!

Dessert was amazing too!  Honey custard with glazed strawberries. We brought some cupcakes and let Audrey decorate them for everyone. Sprinkles go a long way in the hands of a 6 year old! She was just adorable and enthusiastic about the whole process.

Bridgette, on the other hand, just stuffed her face with strawberries!

Thank you Richard and Holly for the pleasure of your company! It’s always a good time with your family!
