Tis the season…

Rick and I enjoyed a plentiful feast with our dear friends, this past Thanksgiving.  I experienced the most incredible roasted turkey I have EVER consumed.  It was incredible!  I can’t stop thinking about it.  We are truly grateful for all our blessings.  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. I  feel so much gratitude for my husband, the blessing of family and friends and the season of Christ.  Our tree is lit, stockings are hung and nutcrackers decorate our table.  Sounds of Bing Crosby and Andy Williams can be heard in our home daily.  I love Christmas, and not because of the beauty of glittery ornaments, or pretty packages, but because of what Christmas does to my heart; it makes me want to serve in soup kitchens, to drop change in the Red Bucket of the salvation army, and to help and serve those in need.   so many people need a kind word, a gentle hug or our time, especially this time of year.  Christmas moves me in ways I can’t explain.
