FEED YOUR SOUL

This is one of three images from the Rodney Smith collection, that has hung on my bedroom wall for the past 3.5 years.

The fact is, I am completely and utterly in love with Rodney Smith’s photographs.

1-2

He is brilliant!  His work not only inspires me in my own photography, but I have so many questions about the photographs after viewing them.

I’m always left feeling like anything is possible!

And his models are timeless and classic.

They are beautiful!

Having shared with you my love for Mr. Smith’s photographs, I want to introduce some other artists.

Their  work now fills these frames on our bedroom walls.

(Hubby doesn’t know yet, as this print & framing event happened 2 hours ago. I hope he likes it…)

This is artist Naoko.  Check her out HERE.

I would love to purchase a series of her Knit Capt Girl Series, so cute!

I love the mushroom inspired hat!

The artist behind this adorable image is Mandy Sutcliffe’s of Belle& Boo.

I LOVE her work!

Check her out HERE.

5I found these images blog hoppin’  about 4 weeks ago.

I was lead to some of these pieces of art via INDIE FIXX.

Jen Wallace of Indie Fixx, started a project called FEED YOUR SOUL

to help art lovers feed their souls with art in these recessionary times and to help artists promote their work.

Each week (usually on Monday) 2 + prints are added to the available downloads, all for FREE!

I haven’t printed these images (yet), but I love them just as much:

Abigail Haplin’s work can be found HERE.hair

This is Artist Mara Girling and her work can be found HERE.

So, check out these artists who are giving away one of their images for download, for FREE!

This has inspired me to bust out my old pencils from AP art, and maybe start drawing/painting again.

The creative juices are ready to be flowin’!
