New 3D Geometry viewer for web - from Autodesk

Hi all,

One of the cool things about running this group is getting suprise emails!

This meetup, Jeremy Tammik from Autodesk (Autodesk creates AutoCAD, Maya & 3D Studio Max among other things) will present a new 3D viewer, originally based on three.js that they are in the process of releasing. So new it doesn't have a name yet.

Jeremy writes: "You may have created fantastic 3D designs. Isn't it frustrating that your website is all in 2D? Now you can very easily embed stunning, interactive, intelligent 3D models into your web page, web application, or desktop application. We'll look at some demos showing what is possible, and cover the simple steps to create a 3D-enabled website."
