Configure Razer Mice In Linux With Razercfg (Ubuntu PPA)

Razer Synapse, the official Razer configuration utility, doesn't work on Linux however, there's a tool called Razercfg that allows configuring some of the Razer mice settings under Linux.

Psensor Updated With Option To Display Temperature Sensors On The Panel

Psensor, a hardware temperature monitoring tool, was updated recently with an option to display the temperature on the panel (next to its AppIndicator icon), along with other improvements and bug fixes.

For those not familiar with Psensor, this is a tool which can be used to monitor the motherboard and CPU temperatures, Nvidia GPUs temperature, (for ATI/AMD it's more complicated) hard disk temperature, fans rotation speed and CPU usage.

I needed a tool for monitoring the CPU frequencies while testing thermald + intel_pstate, and stumbled upon i7z, so I though I'd share it with you, in case you're not familiar with it.

i7z is a tool that reports Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 CPU information about Turbo Boost, per core CPU frequencies, multipliers, temperature as well as times spent in the C0/C1/C3/C6/C7 states, all in real time.

Valve has announced a new category of living-room hardware today, that will be running Steam OS and will be available in multiple configurations. Only 300 of these boxes will ship this year though, for testing purposes.
