Majid Al Futtaim is proud to announce Ghaf Woods Mall, redefining what experiential retail means for the region. Our newest flagship destination in Dubai will be anchored within the Ghaf Woods residential community and is set to be the first of its kind in the region to be seamlessly integrated within a forested landscape. The space reimagines retail through a truly people-centred lens — creating a dynamic mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment, all brought to life through biophilic design. As our 30th mall, Ghaf Woods Mall reflects the continued growth of our retail portfolio and our ambition to shape destinations that evolve with the needs and tastes of our communities, while elevating how our customers live, shop, and connect.

As part of a shared commitment to building a more connected city, Majid Al Futtaim and Roads and Transport Authority have introduced a new 300-metre bridge along Sheikh Zayed Road that improves access and eases congestion for motorists travelling from Abu Dhabi and Jebel Ali towards Mall of the Emirates. Designed to accommodate up to 900 vehicles per hour, the bridge provides direct entry into the mall’s parking area, cutting travel times from Jebel Ali from ten minutes to just one. The bridge forms part of a broader infrastructure enhancement project to widen surrounding roads, upgrade intersections, and improve pedestrian and cycling paths - all aimed at creating a smoother, safer, and more seamless experience for visitors.

Majid Al Futtaim is set to bring its world-class portfolio to Diriyah Square - Riyadh’s premier lifestyle district - with a state-of-the-art cinema and seven leading retail brands. Spanning more than 13,000 sqm, this partnership with Diriyah Company l شركة الدرعية brings together a curated mix of entertainment, fashion, home, and beauty concepts that blend contemporary retail with the Kingdom’s rich heritage, underscoring our commitment to enriching everyday life through exceptional experiences while supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Majid Al Futtaim’s 2024 Sustainability Report reflects a clear and deliberate approach to responsible growth and sustainable business practices. Renewable energy generation exceeded 61 million kWh, supported by progress in green building standards with 27 of our 29 shopping malls achieving LEED Platinum certification. We deepened our engagement with suppliers, driving higher environmental and social standards across the value chain. At the same time, we took meaningful steps towards creating more balanced leadership across our business, with women now holding over 26% of leadership roles.
