In many parts of Afghanistan, small businesses cannot reach banks or get loans. Through the ABADEI programme, supported by UNDP and the European Union, local saving groups are helping people change that. This is the story of a woman who started with four sewing machines and grew her business to thirty. Today, she employs other women and dreams of expanding even more. Watch how access to finance is changing lives, one business at a time.

Humanitarian aid was vital to saving lives in the days following the earthquake. Now, through the @ROK_Mission funded REVIVE Project, the focus turns to early recovery, helping communities rebuild stronger.

Across Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, and Balkh, LITACA III, funded by the People of Japan and JICA, is helping communities grow skills, markets, and resilience. Results: 258 people (108 women) trained through TVET with start-up kits; 9 OVOP groups supporting 649 producers (100 women); 93 infrastructures now serve 250,235 people (129,882 women); 26 processing centers created jobs for 1,669 people and 92,411 labor days; 1,453 trained in business; 196 trained in digital payments; 6,241 people benefited from jobs and employment.
