Hi there,

Did you see this guide yet? This is the best place to start for “Page Not Found” issues.

If you are still seeing issues after following the troubleshooting steps in there, please check out this Support Guide as well. It outlines all of our build and deploy resources and will get you on the right track

If none of the above resources help, please write back with your site name and what steps you have tried and we can look into this further!

Hello,

Thanks for the prompt response. It seems I was not clear enough. Missing or link broken in the sense, it was previously a perfectly working link since I deployed it successfully 4 months ago. Suddenly, the link stopped working. The guide you provided is mostly related to initial deployment error 404. However, I did try what your AI suggested, and changed the Netlify password with no use.

Of course, I have alternatives like do it all over again or directly upload it again to netlify since I have the back up of that website, but that is not the complaint.

Please note that it is just a small project for portfolio, so I didn’t change the link to website name, and it should work. In HTML title tag, it is “Math Sprint Game”. Before you ask, I only have one e-mail linked to netlify and I never use github login for netlify. I also did not make any changes to this github repository. Besides another website deployed in the same way, at the same time is working perfectly fine, and this is missing from dashboard itself. Please resolve the issue at the earliest possible. Thanks in advance.

@Eagle2020 the site is live on https://extraordinary-gnome-c2ea81.netlify.app/

https://668ad8afb0d2292d523b8d18--extraordinary-gnome-c2ea81.netlify.app/ is not the main URL, it is a permalink for a deploy. You shouldn’t use this for anything other than checking a specific deploy. The URL you use when configuring DNS, or providing it to someone with whom you wish to share the project is the one I mentioned at the top of this post.

I already clearly mentioned that one more website deployed at the same time is working, and you just gave me that link instead of fixing the broken one. I even gave the website name of the broken link.

My working link of another website which I didn’t mention at all in this forum:
https://668ae2873503703360e59dfd--extraordinary-gnome-c2ea81.netlify.app/

The broken link:
https://668ad8afb0d2292d523b8d18--extraordinary-gnome-c2ea81.netlify.app/

You can clearly see both links are different (well… you have to see carefully). This is completely unacceptable. Please give a proper answer even if you are unable to fix this.

If you are saying that not renaming the website link is the problem, it doesn’t make any sense since the website shouldn’t disappear from the dashboard after 4 months, and should just show that error instead.

Please fix the aforementioned broken link for which the website disappeared (website name I mentioned), and kindly don’t post my working links in this forum. Of course, you wouldn’t do that intentionally, and it seems to be because of almost same links provided by netlify, but please put yourself in my situation.

Kindly provide a solution or a proper reply. Thank you.

I don’t work for Netlify. I am a community member and was merely trying to assist you.

I will provide you no further assistance due to your deplorable attitude toward me and lack of understanding of the platform you are using.

@Eagle2020 The reply provided by @expired was ‘proper’ and is also ‘accurate’.

Something else you may not be aware of is that Netlify delete deployments after 90 days:
https://docs.netlify.com/site-deploys/manage-deploys/#automatic-deploy-deletion

By default, Netlify will delete deploys after 90 days. Netlify will not delete the deploy currently published to your site (also called the published deploy), or the most recent successful deploy from a Git branch.

If the specific deploy permalink was not fthe ‘published’ deployment or the most recent, then it’s gone.

@expired Hi… My apologies. I thought you are admin with netlify. I just woke up in the middle of night here and read your response. And please note that it has nothing to do with attitude. It has everything to do with information provided. I simply mentioned that you need to check at least the website name/title I provided before posting that the problem is resolved. The two links provided by netlify shows that first part of those links are more important and you said second part is the only important one. Of course, I apologise for the part that I assumed you are admin, and I don’t completely know how the platform and community works here. I sincerely do, but I don’t want to argue further with anyone who says the first two replies (from two different people) are proper. It is completely misunderstood by them. If you have any doubt, please check the problem asked and solution provided by them. However, I understand the time gap and the prompt response and trying to help, and I thank you all for that.

@nathanmartin Yes, thank you very much. This is exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks for the professional and perfect response. I didn’t know about the automatic deletion after 90 days and also great info about most recent successful deploy. Now, I understand how it works. I am new and switching careers. Thank you again.
