DEAL IS DONE – The acquisition of RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria’s shares in AUSTRIA JUICE, announced by AGRANA in May, received approval from the competition authorities last week. With the antitrust clearance, AUSTRIA JUICE GmbH has been a wholly owned subsidiary of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG since October 15, thereby expanding AGRANA’s international Food & Beverage business. RWA, following the sale, will now focus even more strongly on its core business areas. This step was taken to combine the strengths of both companies and to further integrate AUSTRIA JUICE into AGRANA’s new corporate strategy, “AGRANA NEXT LEVEL". AGRANA CEO Stephan Buettner and RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria AG CEO Johannes Schuster are pleased about the approval of the Austria Juice transaction.

🚀Strong performance in Food & Beverage Solutions – full-year Group forecast raised In the first half 2025|26, AGRANA achieved revenue of € 1,691.6 million and EBIT of € 28.0 million. Thanks to very good second-quarter results in the Food & Beverage Solutions business, AGRANA has raised its forecast for the year and now expects a significant increase in Group EBIT of between 10% and 50% https://lnkd.in/du2inkA6 Our CEO Stephan Buettner says: "We are still in a challenging transformation phase as we implement NEXT LEVEL, our new Group strategy. While the results in Food & Beverage Solutions were very positive, the operating performance in the Sugar and Starch businesses was unsatisfactory. The strong earnings contribution from the Food & Beverage Solutions segment not only was a stabilising factor for Group EBIT in the first half of the year, but also forms the main basis for our updated EBIT forecast for the full year 2025|26.”

We are delighted to announce that DI Franz Ennser will join the Management Board of AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG as Chief Operations Officer (COO), effective 1 November 2025.   He will be responsible for agricultural raw materials, operational excellence (including safety & investments), as well as procurement, logistics and supply chain.   Franz Ennser has been with the AGRANA Group since 1998 and has served as CEO of AUSTRIA JUICE Group since 2014. With his long-standing expertise and leadership experience, he will make a valuable contribution to AGRANA’s continued success.   We warmly welcome him to the Management Board! 🌱🌍

🍂 Our 2025 autumn campaign is now in full swing and we're active at five sites across Austria: 📍 Tulln – sugar beet 📍 Gmünd – starch potatoes 📍 Pischelsdorf & Aschach/Donau – wet corn 📍 Kröllendorf – apples This year’s growing conditions were mostly favorable, and the crops — from beets to potatoes to apples — are developing well. Final sugar content will depend on autumn weather, but we’re optimistic.
