🏆 We’re proud to share that TTTech Auto, in collaboration with the research institute fortiss, has recently received the Best Paper Award at the 51st Euromicro Conference on Software Engineering and Advanced Applications (SEAA 2025) in Salerno, Italy. The awarded paper is part of the 𝗧𝗲𝗙𝗼𝗦𝗮 (𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆) 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, which introduces an innovative, optimization-based methodology for automated fault injection test case generation, advancing the safety validation of 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿-𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 (𝗖𝗣𝗦). The approach helps engineers: 1️⃣ Reduce manual testing effort 2️⃣ Improve precision in fault identification 3️⃣ Enhance coverage of worst-case safety scenarios The method has been successfully validated on MotionWise, TTTech Auto’s automotive middleware, demonstrating its ability to uncover complex fault conditions efficiently and strengthen system robustness. This recognition highlights how academic excellence and industrial innovation can join forces to redefine safety testing in increasingly complex CPS environments. Congratulations to our joint team and partners at fortiss — Matko Turalija, Simon Barner, Tiziano Munaro and Marko Halak for this achievement! 📄 Read the paper: https://lnkd.in/dfWcDVvd 🔗 Learn more about the TeFoSa project: https://lnkd.in/dDhiSxZz #SEAA2025 #SoftwareEngineering #Research #Collaboration #Safety #Innovation
