Today marks the official kick-off on our campus in Berlin - a day packed with pitches, deep dives, mentoring and most importantly, fresh ideas to make the digital world safer. 🔐 We're thrilled to introduce the 5 promising startups joining us: 🇫🇷 Whispeak (France) Secure, voiceprint-based authentication that makes logging in seamless and safe for all industries, from healthcare to e-learning. 🇳🇱 Syntho (Netherlands) AI-generated synthetic data that unlocks data use while guaranteeing privacy, recognized by NVIDIA and UNESCO. 🇩🇪 QuantiCor Security GmbH (Germany) Quantum-resistant cryptography building a shield against the cyber threats of the future. 🇮🇱 DeepKeep (Israel) AI-native security ensuring trustworthy, bias-free and explainable machine learning pipelines. 🇺🇸 Virtue AI (USA) Rigorous AI safety and security assessments that help enterprises deploy AI responsibly and confidently. The day started with our Program Managers Laurita Mora and Tim Akgül setting the stage for all 5 teams to pitch their solutions and get acquainted with their mentors and our mentoring concept, ensuring every founder knows who’s in their corner for the months ahead. 🤝 In the afternoon, the focus shifted to 1:1 deep-dive sessions: Each startup sat down with our experts from Deutsche Telekom for tailored feedback, industry insights, and concrete discussions on how to shapen their solutions to ensure they are enterprise-scale ready. We wrapped up with planning for our Demo Day, already giving a glimpse of the milestones to come! And that's just day 1... Stay tuned as we delve deeper into the solutions, highlight how our mentoring framework connects founders with the right expertise, and showcase the cooperation between Telekom teams and the startups. We’ll also be sharing more about how these technologies address real-world security challenges and how they’re shaping the journey towards the Demo Day later this year! Strong signals for Europe’s data future The Advisory Board of DataHub Europe met and took important decisions for the future of Europe’s data and AI landscape. I am very pleased that the shareholders, Deutsche Bahn and Schwarz Digits, are pulling together with the ambition to shape a sovereign and innovative data economy. Two milestones are in focus: ✅ The DataHub Europe Workbench – a powerful environment that will enable companies to develop their own AI solutions and data products easily and efficiently. The key: we build consistently on open-source tools and a sovereign cloud infrastructure. ✅ The DataHub Europe Marketplace – a marketplace that will change how data and AI products are searched, found and offered. It will take collaboration between companies and public institutions to the next level.
