Today we published our Annual Report, highlighting our work on promoting and protecting privacy and information access rights.     This year, we published the report in 2 volumes. Volume 2 is a separate FOI volume of the Annual Report to improve accessibility of agency performance data and provide more detailed regulatory information.     A few key highlights from 2024-25 are:  ● Finalised 2,470 Information Commissioner (IC) reviews in 2024–25, a 41% increase compared to 1,748 in 2023–24.  ● Issued 248 IC review decisions, compared to 207 previous financial year.  ● Finalised 3,123 privacy complaints compared to 3,103 in 2023–24.  ● Issued 10 determinations following investigations of privacy complaints and continued to reduce the number of older complaints on hand.  ● Finalised 1,155 notifications under the NDB scheme, with 86% of notifications finalised within 60 days, exceeding the OAIC target of 80%.     To access both volumes, visit our website:   https://lnkd.in/dNJa-BZw

Thanks to the Australian Public Service Commission the 2025 APS Employment Data is now available. The data includes: · Demographic variables including age, gender and work location · Classification level of APS employees, from trainee to Senior Executive Service · Diversity data including voluntary items self-reported by APS staff such as disability status, Indigenous status, and cultural diversity · Staff movements including engagements, separations, promotions and transfers between agencies.
