💫 What a team! What a night! 💫 Behind every spectacular event is a small, mighty crew making magic happen — and the IPAA ACT Spirit of Service Gala was no exception. With flair, skill and a lot of laughter, this incredible team handled every detail and solved every curveball that came our way. We worked hard, stayed cool under pressure (Ok, mostly!!! 🤣), and pulled off a truly unforgettable celebration of public service excellence 💃🏼🕺🏼🪩 Wooohoo! 💥 #worthit The feedback from attendees has been nothing short of glowing — and we couldn’t be prouder of every finalist and every winner 🙌 If there's one thing we learned (or Ginger Gorman did) from interviewing our winners on tape 🎞️🎥...public sector workers change lives! No words to explain how honoured I feel and proud I am to be part of the team who led this project! We always knew it was special, but being recognised by IPAA ACT at last night's Spirit of Service awards was an added bonus and testament to the work of so many across this agency that joined us on the journey. The awards recognise and celebrate public sector initiatives that drive positive change for the Australian community, and it was an honour to be acknowledged alongside so many incredible initiatives.
Thank you to IPAA ACT and program partners for a fantastic night at the Sprit of Service Awards. I am pleased to announce at tonight’s awards gala we took home the Learning Category Award for the Services Australia ‘Service Delivery Immersion Program - Senior Executive’. A huge thank you to the multiple individuals and teams that helped achive this program through the creation, implementation and delivery to get it where it is today. The program really puts the staff and customer at the forefront of what we do and how we think, interact and design policy and programs. Congratulations team. ❤️ David Hazlehurst Bo Robertson Randall Brugeaud Danielle Regeling PSM

📋 Are we too focused on ticking boxes and forgetting the human side of recruitment? In this episode of #WorkwithPurpose, host David Pembroke speaks with Jacqui Curtis, COO at the Australian Taxation Office and Head of the APS HR Profession, about how the Australian Public Service can move beyond compliance to truly connect with people. It’s a powerful reminder that rules alone don’t build great teams — relationships do. 🎧 Listen now: https://lnkd.in/gmmSRe9M IPAA ACT contentgroup

When your CEO also happens to have a secret talent for floral design… 💐✨ Ahead of tonight’s Spirit of Service Awards Gala (aka the Logies of the public sector), our CEO Kate Driver rolled up her sleeves and created these stunning, artistic flower arrangements herself. It’s the perfect touch of creativity, warmth, and heart for a night that celebrates the same values across the ACT and Commonwealth public sectors. 🌿 We are itching to see who wins! #SpiritOfService #PublicSectorProud #LeadershipInBloom #ipaaact And props to Kate Schwanhausser for her incredible work on this event too 🙌
