About us
Nomad Atomics is developing a suite of compact, low cost, quantum sensor to address the shortcomings of current commercially available sensors. The venture aims to solve outstanding problems across numerous market segments such as inertial navigation and underground fluid monitoring where poor long-term data quality is the limiting figure of merit. This will be accomplished through the introduction of high precision, compact, drift free quantum sensors into targeted commercial markets.

The Nomad Atomics survey team recently travelled to Canberra to determine the scale factor of our Scintrex CG6 gravity meter by taking measurements at Australian Fundamental Gravity Network (AFGN) stations at Geoscience Australia and Mount Ainslie. This type of regular testing of our relative gravity meter confirms accurate operation of the meter and ensures high quality survey results that can be confidently combined with data from other gravity surveys. It was great to catch up with the Geoscience Australia team and we can't wait to return soon to take absolute gravity measurements at these AFGN sites using our next generation quantum absolute gravimeter! #AFGN #NomadAtomics #QuantumTechnology #gravimetry #calibration
