  • Smiles all around at Westmead Hospital! Parramatta Police Area Command dropped off a mountain of toys collected through a community toy drive - filling the Starlight Room with Play-Doh, bubbles, LEGO, trucks, dolls, board games and more 🧸🎁🎲🎨🫧🧱🚚 With Constable Charlie, Youth Command and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command along for the visit, officers spent time with the hospital’s bravest little legends, bringing a dose of joy and laughter to some very special kids and their families. This #FeelGoodFriday reminds us that while policing takes courage, these kids are the true heroes. 🥹💙

  • This #FeelGoodFriday, we’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone with a true pioneer of policing 💙 Earlier this week, officers from Burwood Police Area Command visited Yvonne Tupman - a former NSW Police Force officer and Australian Women’s Army Service veteran - in honour of her 105th birthday. Yvonne was one of the first ten women to join the Force in 1945, paving the way for generations of women in law enforcement. It was a privilege to spend time with Yvonne and hear her reflections on a century of courage, resilience, and dedication. Happy Birthday, Yvonne - thank you for inspiring us all 🎂💐

  • A few weeks ago, Bryson helped us save Sydney 🚓🔑🐾🎖️ Today, he met with Commissioner Lanyon to relive the moment: sharing stories, laughs, and memories from that incredible day. Bryson, you’re more than a hero - you’re an inspiration. Your bravery reminds us what true courage looks like, and you’ll always have a place in the NSW Police Force family. 💙

  • Connection, culture, and collaboration 🌿👮🏽♀️✨ Starting earlier this year, new probationary constables at Mount Druitt PAC have been spending time with local Elders from the Baabayan Aboriginal Corporation, learning about culture, history and lived experiences. These cultural days are about listening, understanding and strengthening relationships between police and community. Today, the Aunts and local artist Tereesa Potter returned to present a completed artwork, Working Together, created with our newest officers. The piece was unveiled at the Baabayan Centre before finding its new home in the Mount Druitt Police Station foyer - a lasting reminder of respect, awareness and connection 🖤💛❤️

NSW Police have established a new high-visibility surge operation to proactively target offenders and prevent criminal behaviour, with 95 arrested and in excess of 200 charges laid during the first crackdown. “This operation shows how we can proactively use each region’s officers and resources to enhance our police response in a targeted way.” Assistant Commissioner Gavin Wood said.
