Leadership doesn’t follow a single path. At the recent Women Unlimited Leadership Summit, QBE Australia Pacific CEO Sue Houghton reflected on the future of leadership. “Leadership today demands more than just direction, it calls for curiosity and adaptability," Sue said. QBE is proud to support Stars Foundation - Australia, a long-term partner of the AUSPAC QBE Foundation, in its mission to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls and young women to finish school and create brighter futures. Recently, our Foundation Co-Chair Julie Starley visited Swan View Senior High School in WA, where Stars has been running a program since 2022. With 60 participants and attendance rates consistently above the school average, the program is a shining example of the impact holistic mentoring can have. Julie met with Stars mentors, Stars students and Principal George Sekulla to hear firsthand how the program is helping students thrive through strong pastoral care and community collaboration. 🌟 In 2025, Stars Foundation supports over 4,000 students across 70+ schools nationwide, with impressive outcomes in education, wellbeing, and transitions to work or further study.
