Defence Security Division had a huge turnout for the 2025 Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) Industry Forum with around 750 industry representatives attending the two-day event at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 24 – 25 July. This year’s theme ‘Defence Secured: Industry Excellence’ was aimed at Small & Medium enterprises and incorporated presentations and workshops led by Government and industry supply partners. The Forum provided a valuable opportunity for industry to learn how to manage governance and cyber challenges and be better prepared to access Defence projects and supply chains. The event included industry-focused trade stands from across Government, allowing face-to-face contact with industry support networks. Thank you to all our attendees, presenters and workshops leads. The NSW Government Innovation Showcase and Cyber Security Showcase, led by Public Sector Network Australia and held at Royal Randwick this week as part of their Government Innovation Week series, brought together senior leaders and experts from across government, industry, and academia. Highlights of the day included the Ministerial Address, delivered by Minister Jihad Dib, in which he focused on how the NSW Government is building a future-ready NSW through the NSW Digital Strategy and the five missions of accessibility, productivity, trust, resilience and digital skills; with a particular spotlight on accessibility and inclusion with the recent launch of the NSW Digital Inclusion Strategy. We also connected with Adrian White from DCS Spatial Services and Jacki Muir from ID Support NSW, who shared their thoughts on the day with us. Across the course of the two events, presenters and attendees alike shared insights, explored emerging technologies and that innovation and cyber security is not just about technology - it's also about building trust, improving lives and securing our future. #PublicSector #Innovation #CyberSecurity #DCS

🤝 South Australian defence companies are strengthening ties with the UK ahead of DSEI in London next week. The strategic pre-event trade mission is an opportunity for local industry to showcase their strengths in submarine capability and build key partnerships to support AUKUS Pillar I. Following this week's trade mission, from 9-12 September, more than 50 South Australian companies and research organisations will take to the global stage at DSEI, with the event attracting more than 45,000 attendees from over 90 countries.
