The Tech industry ranks among the lowest sectors in terms of gender diversity. Research shows that we’re at about 30% gender diversity in technical roles, and only 14% in leadership roles within tech. It’s time to change the status quo to create better business outcomes and greater gender equality.
I want to help anyone who feels that want to grow in this area and try and give them information and support where I can.

The primary objective of the Foundation is to develop and oversee all fund raising efforts of the College that relate to capital projects and sponsorship.

In support of this broad aim, the Foundation seeks to raise funds to support specific capital projects; to provide capital reserves for the use of the College in subsequent capital projects; or as preserved funds from which income may be derived for such purposes, as the board may direct.

The Foundation consists of Board members appointed by the Board. Other members include the Principal and Director of Development. The Chairman of the Committee is appointed by the Board and is also to be a Board Member. The Committee itself selects other members from the College community. The membership of the Committee is reviewed annually.

David Smulders volunteered as a Regional Judge in the 2016 Lions Australia Youth of the Year Quest. Through David’s participation in this quest he has assisted to encourage, foster and develop leadership in our youth. This quest is for Year 12 students and provides them with incentive to pay greater attention to general qualities as they enter the fields of employment or higher education. David encouraged the students to explore their passion and deliver a speech on a topic which inspires them.… Show more

Initially we started raising funds to help prevent Rhino Poaching.

We eventually turned efforts to support The Rhino Orphanage that focused on caring for orphaned Rhino calves, providing relocation, medical assistance and nurturing.

Assisted with awareness campaigns, raising funds, and even acted as a ranger assistant on one elephant relocation project.
