Teams across Innovative Medicine and MedTech proudly joined more than 7,500 colleagues worldwide for this year’s Cycling for Children event.   Together, we cycled more than 220,000 kilometres and raised an incredible €260,000 for Sight for Kids - our global partnership with Lions Clubs International. These funds will help deliver vision screenings and eyeglasses to 43,000 children, bringing essential eye care to communities that need it most.   It was inspiring to see our ANZ teams come together with such energy and commitment for a cause that truly matters. As we prepare to relocate to our new state-of-the-art Johnson & Johnson offices in MPark, Sarah Najdek Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, ANZ and Joana De Castro Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, ANZ welcomed retirees and current employees with more than 25 years of J&J service for a special event last week. From the iconic J&J MedTech sandstone building once being a market garden, to the evolution from hot desking to activity based working, it was really special to reflect on the journey of how and where we work at J&J in Australia. Most of all it was wonderful to connect with those highly tenured team members who may no longer be J&J employees but are still part of the J&J family!

Yesterday, more than 200 ANZ employees from across Innovative Medicine & MedTech volunteered their time and united for impact at our first ever #JNJCareCommunity Day in Sydney. Together, we packed 600 hygiene kits for Children's Ground to support families in remote communities across Australia’s Top End and Alice Springs.   At J&J ANZ, we have a strong legacy of supporting communities close to home. We were thrilled to host J&J’s CIO Jim Swanson and members of his leadership team in Sydney last week. Despite the wet weather, we enjoyed an action-packed few days where Jim and his team met with our Technology and Leadership teams to learn about the progress our ANZ teams are making, as well as participated in a Fireside Chat where Jim shared key insights into the global strategy and key priorities with our wider ANZ teams.    It was inspiring to hear Jim discuss the work that is being led by our Technology teams globally to continue to transform the way we work, and how it will advance the standard of care for our customers and patients.   Our local team also took the opportunity to take Jim and team through our brand-new Australian HQ in Macquarie Park as it nears final completion, and showcase how the latest technology has been incorporated to create a state-of-the art workspace for our J&J teams to thrive in the future. #JNJ #GreatPlaceToWork Joana De Castro Sarah Najdek Geraldine Carson Geoff Quattromani Joyce Lee Neelesh Shanbhag Jenny Zhang Kate Guydan Francie Eckford

Five of our J&J colleagues across Innovative Medicine & MedTech recently volunteered with Heart of Australia, delivering vital heart and lung checks to more than 200 people in the Palm Island community. For the past seven years, we’ve proudly partnered with Heart of Australia to help bring specialist healthcare and diagnostic services to rural, remote, and under-served communities. Together, we’re working to close the health equity gap - so that every Australian, no matter where they live, has the opportunity to live a long and healthy life. This week we celebrated a significant milestone in the journey towards our new Australian headquarters at MPark in Sydney.   We were thrilled to participate in a special topping out ceremony hosted by our partners at Stockland, signaling the near completion of our new home at 17 Khartoum Road.   This new building will be a truly world-class facility for Johnson & Johnson, and will bring our businesses and people all together. We are very excited to be in the final stages now, and look forward to officially moving in later this year.   #JNJ #GreatPlacetoWork Sarah Najdek Joana De Castro
