Opal Nicholson is a digital news editor at The Badger Herald, previously serving as a news associate editor. She is currently a sophomore double majoring in journalism and French at UW, passionate about storytelling, language and connecting with people. Her reporting interests include public policy, cultural communities and criminal justice. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in investigative journalism.
