This October, Avertimers across Europe came together with energy, compassion, and purpose to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From Avertim Germany to Avertim Brussels, Avertim Netherlands to Avertim France, our teams ran, danced, stretched, and learned together, raising awareness, honouring survivors, and supporting vital research. - In Germany, Avertimers joined the Race for Survival & other wellness events full of heart. - In Belgium, 13 Avertimers proudly participated in the Race for the Cure organized by Think Pink. - In the Netherlands, Avertimers hosted an insightful workshop with the BVN - Borstkankervereniging Nederland, followed by a donation walk. - In France, our team joined the Odysséa Organisation, adding their stride to the collective fight. We closed the month with Pink Day across offices, a vibrant reminder that every pink gesture matters. 💗 A heartfelt thank you to every Avertimer who ran, danced, learned, and shared this cause. Yesterday, we were at the Tapio Day, a key event bringing together over 1000 professionals committed to building a more sustainable future.🌿   Virgile Descroix, Sustainability Delivery Lead from GSK and Matthieu Deruel, Life Sciences Director at Avertim led a joint conference on "Scope 3, Waste & Material - Rethinking material flows in GSK Supply Chain". They showed how GSK teams, together with our consultants, bring sustainability into daily operations, work with suppliers, and apply the 5R approach to ‘Buy Better & Buy Less. On November 1st, Belgium reached a key milestone in its energy transition with the start of the first delivery period of the Capacity Remuneration Mechanism (CRM). What is the CRM? 🔍 The Capacity Remuneration Mechanism (CRM) is a cornerstone of the federal government’s energy strategy, ensuring Belgium’s long-term security of supply. By organizing auctions where energy providers bid to offer their capacity, the CRM helps guarantee that enough energy is available during peak demand or potential shortages. At Avertim, our energy consultants have been supporting clients since 2021 in the preparation and implementation of CRM-related processes and systems. On October 12, Avertim and Tapio teamed up for an inter-company football tournament alongside Sport dans la ville and Sport2Be. Fourteen players came together to share a great moment of teamwork, inclusion, and the joy of using sport as a force for positive social change. 🤝 We are proud to support Sport dans la Ville and Sport2Be, two organizations dedicated to empowering young people through sport, education, and health. Sport dans la Ville helps guide youth toward academic and career success, while Sport2Be supports children in overcoming personal challenges and thriving. Their missions resonate with Avertim’s commitment to inclusion and well-being, anchored in our core pillars: Health and Education. 🌱 The event highlighted the vital role of women in sports and reinforced our belief that sport is for everyone.
