Circular changemakers in action! Last week, Belgium’s construction and real estate community gathered at Madaster Connect Belgium, part of Digital Construction Brussels by Embuild - The Belgian Construction Association — an inspiring afternoon dedicated to accelerating circular building. From visionary insights by Thomas Rau to practical examples from Ghelamco, Port of Antwerp-Bruges, and Bolder Industries, the event showcased how data, design, and collaboration drive real progress. BGBC’s Managing Director Gilles Vanvolsem underlined how the EU Taxonomy and clear frameworks can help the sector move faster toward truly sustainable construction.
