📢 EFRAG releases Final Comment Letter on IASB’s 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗙𝗥𝗦 𝟭𝟲 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙨 EFRAG concludes that the Standard is generally working well and has largely met its objective of improving lease-related financial reporting. However, EFRAG identifies areas where IFRS 16 could benefit from targeted improvements, including: ✅ Presentation and disclosure of cash flow information ✅ Scope determination ✅ Interactions with other IFRS Accounting Standards — notably IFRS 9 Financial Instruments and IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers Users also questioned the quality of some disclosures, particularly where significant management judgment is involved. 👉 Read more: https://lnkd.in/dnGb9NgP #IFRS16 #IASB #FinancialReporting #AccountingStandards #IFRS
