🌍⚡ Nuclear: Moving from the Margins to the Mainstream in Europe’s Energy Transition Have you noticed how Europe’s energy conversations often focus on wind and solar, while nuclear stays in the shadows? In the latest EU Energy Projects Podcast, two of our SNETP General Secretariat members, Candice Boudet from CEA and Jan Prehradný from Centrum výzkumu Řež / Research Centre Řež, dive into why nuclear deserves a bigger role in Europe’s energy future. From addressing perception challenges to exploring the potential of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), their insights make it clear: nuclear isn’t just part of the solution, it’s a game-changer for a reliable, low-carbon energy system. 🎧 Listen to the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/esQEFwaH And exciting news, SNETP will be at Enlit Europe this November 18-20! Come meet us in the EU Projects Zone to discuss how nuclear innovation can support Europe’s path to climate neutrality. #SNETP #EnergyTransition #ENLIT2025 #CleanEnergy #Euratom

☢️ Nuclear often sits in the shadows of Europe’s energy debates, with solar and wind taking centre stage. But is it time for that to change? In the latest EU Energy Projects Podcast, Areti Ntaradimou speaks with Candice Boudet (CEA, SNETP) and Jan Prehradný (RCR, SNETP) about why nuclear deserves a bigger role in Europe’s energy future. From the perception challenges that still linger, to the promise of small modular reactors (SMRs) as faster, safer and more flexible solutions, the conversation makes a compelling case for nuclear as a key player in decarbonisation. 🎧 Listen now: https://lnkd.in/dgqPZb5w #EUProjects #EnergyTransition #NuclearEnergy
