Welcome to TMC, Mathilda! 🎉 We’re very excited to welcome Mathilda Mushiete as our new Business Manager for the BU Life Sciences at TMC Belgium! 👩🏼🔬 With a background in biology and experience in both environmental and life sciences consulting, Mathilda brings a strong mix of scientific expertise and people-oriented skills. She started her career in environmental consulting, helping industrial companies comply with environmental legislation. Five years ago, she made the switch to life sciences, working at Pfizer on projects in aseptic manufacturing, training, scheduling, continuous improvement, and MES deployment. Driven by her passion for science and people, Mathilda is eager to take on this new challenge where connection and intuition make all the difference. Outside of work, she’s a true city girl from Brussels, with a love for food, culture, photography, and travel. And in 2024, she became the proud mom of a cute and spirited daughter, Alba. 💛 We’re thrilled to have you on board, Mathilda — welcome to the TMC family! 🚀

Another one for the books! 🤩 The Brussels Airport Marathon marked TMC’s fifth and last running event of 2025! From the 7 km to the half marathon, it was a very challenging parcours with a lot of altitude meters, but our colleagues once again showed incredible energy and determination. 💪 It’s inspiring to see how each race strengthens our bond and keeps our TMC spirit moving forward. Last Thursday’s TEL – The Entrepreneurial Lab session was another great success! 🎉 Once again, our employeneurs came together to connect and brainstorm while enjoying some delicious pizza 🍕. At TMC, we believe that true innovation happens when people have the freedom to explore their ideas and bring them to life. That’s exactly why we created The Entrepreneurial Lab (TEL): a platform where employeneurs can develop their entrepreneurial mindset, experiment with new concepts, and even launch their own start-ups. 🚀 During TEL evenings, our colleagues present their projects, prototypes, or business ideas to fellow engineers, business managers, and innovation enthusiasts. It’s an inspiring space where knowledge, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit come together. This time, we had the pleasure of welcoming Siav Houille KUOCH, Michiel Vandale, Tom De Block, and Jules Lammens, who each delivered an inspiring presentation. 𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐌𝐂 – 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐲   Hi, I’m Louis Barclay (pronounced “Barcliee”)   I have a background in biotechnology and management, and I’ve been working as a business manager for almost five years.  Currently, I’m a Business Manager at TMC, focusing on the life sciences sector. 👨🔬 I’ve been here for 1.5 years and today, I’ll take you through a typical day in my life!   𝟗:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 – Coffee first! ☕ I start my day by taking a well-deserved coffee and greeting the OM team, who are always ready with a smile.    𝟏𝟎:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 – Client visit 💼 Time for a prospection meeting. I connect with potential clients and explore new opportunities for collaboration.  Always exciting to see what’s possible!    𝟏𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 – Lunch & ping pong 🏓 Back at the office, I enjoy lunch with colleagues.  Often followed by a friendly (and sometimes competitive) game of ping pong, who says business managers don’t play hard?   After lunch, I dive into emails and present candidates to match client needs.   𝟐:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟒:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 – Follow-up meetings 💻 Checking in with employees on their projects, making sure everything is running smoothly and that they’re happy at TMC.   𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 - Life Sciences team meeting 🤝 Our weekly catch-up allows us to review candidates, clients and upcoming projects.  It’s a great way to stay connected and collaborate as a team, because after all, 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦.   𝟔:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 - End of the work day 👋 Up to West Flanders again (with hopefully not too much traffic 😅)!   #HomeOfEmployeneurs #adayinthelife #businessmanager #TMC

Our Q-meeting last Thursday was a great success, despite the rainy weather ☔✨ We started with some welcoming drinks, followed by an insightful presentation from our COO, Jaskaran Sandhu, who shared the latest company figures. We also received updates on upcoming events and warmly welcomed new colleagues to the TMC family.🥂 In the evening, we enjoyed a variety of delicious pasta and for those with a sweet tooth, there was an entire dessert buffet.
