Toyota Group companies across #Europe came together for the Toyota Group Europe Sustainability Kick-off event ➡️ a dynamic platform for exploring environmental, social, and governance (#ESG) challenges and opportunities. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions, shared insights, and learned from one another, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing #sustainability across the region. Toyota Boshoku Europe was honored to actively contribute to this initiative. We showcased our #climate action 🌱 strategies and engaged in insightful exchanges with sustainability experts from across the Toyota Group. The event concluded with a strong mutual agreement: to continue sharing knowledge, learning collaboratively, and moving forward together to create long-term value and drive #sustainable progress in Europe. This summer marks two significant #anniversaries in the Toyota Boshoku Europe journey: the #20th anniversary of the Brussels headquarters and the #15th anniversary of the Munich branch. These milestones are more than numbers - they reflect decades of innovation, resilience, and teamwork across the Europe and Africa region.🌍 Founded on July 11, 2005 TBEU Brussels began as a modest few-person office and quickly evolved into a dynamic hub supporting manufacturing activities across the region. Over the years, it grew to house over 350 employees across multiple locations, becoming a cornerstone of Toyota Boshoku’s Europe and Africa operations. The Brussels team has consistently demonstrated #excellence in engineering, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction, embodying the spirit of “Quality of Time and Space” in mobility solutions. Meanwhile, the Munich branch established in 2010 has carved its own path as a center for advanced R&D, technical innovation and NCB sales. With a strong focus on interior space creation and next-generation automotive solutions, the Munich team has contributed significantly to Toyota Boshoku’s global vision. TBEU Brussels Summer BBQ 2025 ☀️ Last Friday, the #TBEUBrussels team came together for our much-anticipated annual summer barbecue, and what an evening it was! Our Ikaros office transformed into a vibrant hub of food, laughter, and connection. With delicious bites, refreshing drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere, colleagues from across departments mingled: locals, expats, and trainees shared stories, smiles, and summer vibes. This year’s BBQ wasn’t just about good food and fun; it was also about giving back. Our CSR #charity raffle, held during the event, raised funds for Serve the City Belgium, a Brussels-based initiative dedicated to helping those in need. With over 20 prizes up for grabs, the raffle added excitement and purpose to the evening. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who bought tickets and supported the cause! Friday's atmosphere at the BBQ was a perfect example of how we live by the principles established in 1935 by Sakichi Toyoda, one of these principles being: "We always strive to build a homelike atmosphere at work that is warm and friendly." This week marked the final working day of Mr. Shoji Adachi, President of Toyota Boshoku Europe, who on April 1 handed over his position to Mr. Satoshi Yamanouchi. Mr. Adachi took the role of President & CEO in April 2021 and is now embarking on a well-deserved retirement. Reflecting on his four-year tenure as President of TBEU and leader of the Europe and Africa region, he stated: “Despite it not being a favorable business environment, we were able to make significant improvements in #safety, #quality, and #productivity, making our company strong enough to secure Toyota Boshoku Europe as a healthy and thriving entity.” We are excited to carry forward his vision and build on the strong foundation Mr. Adachi established. “Mr. Adachi, we all as employees of Toyota Boshoku Europe extend our heartfelt gratitude for your exceptional leadership, mentoring and dedication and wish you a healthy and fulfilling retirement.
