Heritage can lead the way to a net-zero future Triginta's approach to redeveloping listed heritage buildings was featured in IMPACT, the journal of ESG & social impact investment by Real Asset Media. The article highlights how circular design, social value and long-term sustainability can reinforce one another in the transformation of heritage and religious sites. Jasper Schokkaert, Commercial & Impact Manager at Triginta, contributed insights on how heritage assets can play a meaningful role in the net-zero transition. Knowledge sharing remains key to accelerating positive change in the real estate sector. Yesterday, Jasper also spoke at the SPRYG Real Estate Academy in Antwerp, sharing Triginta’s experience in translating the social aspect of ESG principles into tangible real estate impact. We invest with purpose, creating places that respect history, strengthen communities and prepare for a sustainable future. #RealPeopleRealKnowledgeRealEstate #Impact #NetZero #Heritage

A look at Belgian real estate - revisited A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last week in Mechelen for an inspiring edition of the Triginta Academy, where we explored the evolving Belgian real estate landscape. The event took place in Voka - KvK Mechelen-Kempen's event spaces, located within one of our projects at the Keerdoksite, providing the perfect setting for a conversation about the future of our sector. Special thanks to our guest speakers Philip Borremans, Andy Lemmens and Alexander Hodac, and to our CEO Jan Lambertyn for leading the discussion. The key takeaway? The future belongs to those who combine long-term vision, courage and an open mind. At Triginta, we continue to look ahead with that same mindset, investing responsibly and creating long-term value for people and society. #RealPeopleRealKnowledgeRealEstate #TrigintaAcademy #Keerdok

At the Damiaansite in Leuven, we continue to move forward with a vision that unites history and innovation Following an appeal against the permit granted by the Deputation, a procedure before the Council for Permit Disputes is currently ongoing. At the same time, the tender dossier has been sent out to contractors, marking an important step in preparing this historic site for its next chapter. Rooted in history yet designed for the future, the redevelopment of the Damiaansite will bring new life to the monastery, the townhouses and the garden. We are creating inclusive housing for students and new living spaces for the Picpus Fathers, ensuring that this heritage site remains a place of connection, comfort and purpose. #RealPeopleRealKnowledgeRealEstate #StadLeuven #Damiaansite #Heritage #Redevelopment

From architect to project developer: why I chose Triginta “When I first got to know Triginta, I was still working as an architect at B2Ai. We collaborated on a few projects, and something immediately stood out. The way Triginta approached partnerships, people and places felt fundamentally different. It was human. Respectful. Long-term. That impression stayed with me. So when I started looking for a new challenge back in 2022, I knew exactly where I wanted to apply. Not because I had the perfect profile for project development, but because the values I saw at Triginta aligned with my own. Even though I had no direct experience in development, they gave me a chance. That says a lot about how people are seen here. Not just for what they already know, but for their potential, their curiosity and their view on the world. Today, I get to work on projects that matter. We bring new meaning to old places. Not just for the sake of the building, but for the value it can bring to the community around it. That resonates with me. Repurposing heritage is not only a spatial or technical challenge, it is a social one. The transition was exciting. Especially the financial side of development was unfamiliar to me at first. But I always had the space to learn and people around me who supported that learning process. That made all the difference. Would I do it again? Absolutely. I am proud to help shape not just buildings, but meaning. And grateful for the trust I get to grow in my own direction.” — Tessa Van Gucht Project Developer at Triginta #RealPeopleRealKnowledgeRealEstate #RepurposingHeritage #ProjectDevelopment #PeopleWithPurpose #Impact

🔨 Making space for what’s next In Ghent we are creating additional office spaces on the third, fourth and fifth floor for our future occupant de lage landen, joining our current occupant Koninklijke Academie voor Nederlandse Taal en Letteren (KANTL). At the same time we are safeguarding this heritage site for the long term. In close collaboration with and supported by Onroerend Erfgoed (Flanders Heritage Agency) and Stad Gent, and under the guidance of Bressers Architecten, we are carefully balancing heritage and functionality. The works, executed by Verstraetebouw, include: ✔️ Insulation and restoration of the attic ✔️ Repair of roof, slates and gutters ✔️ Exterior joinery restored to its historic model ✔️ Repair of plasterwork and painting across several spaces ✔️ Installation of glass interior walls In parallel, AAtechnics nv will install energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the building. The renovation started last week and is scheduled for completion by the end of November. #RealPeopleRealKnowledgeRealEstate #Heritage #FutureProof

“Sustainability is more than green energy and reducing operational costs.” That was the key message shared by our Impact Manager, Jasper Schokkaert, during a recent webinar hosted by Sociëteit Vastgoed International. Together with Anthony Schrauwen from Interalu and Ewout Spronk from Dura Vermeer, Jasper explored how ESG, circularity, user comfort and financial returns come together in shaping the future of real estate in the Benelux and beyond. The discussion showed that future-proof real estate is not about compliance alone. It is built on conscious choices that balance environmental impact with economic viability and user well-being. 👇 Read the full recap in the original post below. #RealPeopleRealKnowledgeRealEstate #ESG #FutureProof #Circularity #RealEstate

Opening our doors to the community of Nazareth-De Pinte! Last weekend Eke celebrated the 29th edition of Brouwsels op Straat, the annual street arts festival that fills the village with theatre, circus, music and creativity. As part of the festival, Triginta opened the chapel of Godshuis de Lichtervelde to the public. Visitors could discover the future plans for this site and view artworks created by Zonnehoeve|Living+, one of the future tenants. Originally a monastery, Godshuis de Lichtervelde has served many roles over the past century: a boarding school, a military refuge, a care facility and a temporary shelter. It is now moving towards a new chapter that brings together social value, heritage and sustainable community integration. As our project developer Julie Jonckheer puts it: “This is a Triginta project pur sang, where religious heritage, care and social value converge in a meaningful reuse.” ➡️ Planned programme: - Daycare centre by Nazareth-De Pinte - Care studios by Zonnehoeve|Living+ - Offices, with Triginta among the first tenants The permit application was submitted in June 2025. Technical studies are now being finalised to prepare for tendering. In collaboration with: Veneco_be, ZOOM architecten, Callebaut Architecten, Erik De Waele, M-gineers, Egeon B.V.B.A, Lime and Studiebureau Schoonackers. Interested in joining this journey? Offices are still available to welcome future tenants. 👉 Julie Jonckheer #RealPeopleRealKnowledgeRealEstate #Heritage #ReligiousRealEstate #MeaningfulReuse

Proud of the redevelopment of our monastery farm in Schimmert, creating spaces for care.

🚴 Rain or shine, the Triginta Peloton keeps going. Last Friday in Leuven we rode the sixth edition of our annual peloton. More than cycling, it is a reflection of how we operate: committed, connected and driven. The Damiaansite was both our start and finish line and the ride concluded with a guided visit to this religious heritage site that will soon be given a new future. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the partners who made this edition possible: Vlaamse Wielerschool, Céline De Groote, Boshi bv, wilde koffie, and Mi! Streetfood. And a special thank you to Michaël Joris for capturing the day. Here's to keeping the tradition alive in cycling and in building the future together. #RealPeopleRealKnowledgeRealEstate #Cycling #TeamSpirit #TrigintaPeloton #ReligiousRealEstate #Heritage
