🚀 𝚁𝚎𝚜𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚌𝚑 𝚂𝚑𝚘𝚠𝚌𝚊𝚜𝚎 ☀️ 🌌 Can we predict solar storms before they strike Earth? 🌍 Understanding how magnetic energy builds up and triggers solar flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs) is key to protecting satellites, power grids, and communications from space weather events. 🎓 Congratulations, Dr. Melvin Geubbelmans! 👏 VSC warmly congratulates Melvin Geubbelmans on the successful defense of his PhD, “From whole slide imaging optimization to nuclei segmentation: computational approaches for non-small cell lung carcinoma.” His remarkable work — bridging AI and digital pathology — pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in medical image analysis.
