Head of Purchasing - Indirect

What You'll Do:

• Oversee all aspects of purchasing related to indirect materials & services (CAPEX, Logistics, IT, and consumables).
• Develop and implement category strategies for assigned categories.
• Manage key supplier relationships and collaborate with major stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
• Lead and coach the indirect purchasing team, including workload division and goal alignment.
• Implement standardized processes and agile project management methodology for indirect purchasing projects.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with initiative goals.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools for cost reduction, savings tracking, and compliance.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance and initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

• University Degree, preferably in Business, Economics or Engineering.
• Several years of proven experience in procurement/consulting in a similar position, preferably in large companies.
• Strong People Management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple stakeholders across different levels of organization.
• Analytical and proactive mindset.
