About our Client

Our client is a leading international aviation solutions provider. Headquartered in Belgium and worldwide active, the company combines a rich heritage with strong ambitions for growth in both the civil and defense sectors.

The company has built a reputation for technical excellence, reliability, and innovation, providing services ranging from aircraft maintenance to complex component repairs and custom modifications.Following several strategic acquisitions and integrations, the company is entering a new phase of transformation and professionalization, creating exciting opportunities for impact and leadership within its operations.

About the Role

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and transforming the Supply Chain organization. Reporting directly to the EVP Operations, you will lead a team of around 20 professionals across different departments.

Your mission is to bring structure, efficiency, and a proactive mindset to a department that plays a crucial role in supporting the company’s technical operations.

You will:

  • Lead, structure, and develop the team, fostering collaboration, ownership, and accountability.
  • Implement efficient, standardized processes across all supply chain functions.
  • Drive the transition from reactive to proactive planning, both in procurement and logistics.
  • Optimize supplier performance, material availability, and inventory management.
  • Partner closely with your peers in Maintenance and Planning to ensure alignment and operational continuity.
  • Balance short-term urgencies with long-term improvement initiatives, combining strategic thinking with hands-on leadership.

This role requires both strategic vision and operational drive. This is an opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys building teams, driving change, and delivering measurable results.

Requirements

You combine strong expertise in Supply Chain Management with proven leadership skills, preferably in a technical or industrial environment. You bring structure where needed, engage teams with clarity and purpose, and thrive in a dynamic, evolving context.

  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or any other related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior Supply Chain Management role within an industrial or technical environment.
  • A strong, experienced people manager — capable of guiding, motivating, and transforming a team.
  • Experience in a unionized context is essential.
  • Resilient, hands-on, and results-driven, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (French is a strong asset).
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools; knowledge of AMOS and EASA Part 145 regulations is a plus.

Experience in aviation is not a must. What matters most is your leadership style and experience, the ability to bring structure and transform the way of working within the team.

What we offer

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious, growing organization with a solid international reputation. You will have the autonomy and trust to build and professionalize the supply chain department. In this role you can be sure to leave a visible mark on the company’s next phase of growth.

You will join a team passionate about aviation, collaboration, and continuous improvement and will be part of an environment where entrepreneurship and initiative are truly valued.
