What an inspiring gathering! On 30 July - 1 June, the European Alliance for Apprenticeships High-Level Event brought together key voices from across Europe to discuss the future of #apprenticeships. 🤝 The event gathered over 160 experts, policymakers, and partners who discussed: ✔️ Apprenticeships as a useful tool to address skills shortages within the labour market, especially in the context of the green and digital transitions ✔️ The importance of communicating the attractiveness of VET apprenticeships to young people and their parents ✔️ Ways to engage girls and women in STEM education and apprenticeships ✔️ The necessity of establishing fair working conditions for apprentices 📸 Swipe through the highlights that made this event so impactful! “I wanted to be more in tune with my values”. Maxime from France changed his career from an executive for a cut flowers company to a winemaker 🍇 He felt that he wanted to stay loyal to what led him to his agronomy studies: to have less negative impact on the environment 🌱 Thanks to Transition Pro he was able to receive support for the financial part of the transition and fully dedicate his energy to the job change. “When you have a job you like, you always manage to find the energy to get up in the morning and move forward building your company and your vision” - he said. 👉 This is what the #UnionOfSkills is all about: empowering people to take the next step.
