Europe is moving forward on gender equality and the progress is real 👩🏽👨🦰 With 63.4 points in the 2025 Gender Equality Index — a +10.5-point rise since 2010 — the EU is steadily advancing. The Index measures gender equality across key areas of life, from work and knowledge to time, power and health. It is scored on a scale from 0 to 100. Across Europe, more women are studying, working, leading — and EU countries are strengthening equality through concrete reforms. This progress improves people’s daily lives: from fairer access to work and education to greater representation in decision-making. The direction is clear: ✅ more opportunities ✅ fairer workplaces ✅ stronger rights and protections But progress remains too slow: at this pace, full gender equality in the EU is still 50 years away. This is why continued action matters — every step forward brings a fairer, more inclusive Europe closer. 👉 A gender-equal future is getting closer. 🔗 Read the 2025 Report in the first comment ↓
