On 29 October in Constanța, Romania, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alina Soceanu participated in the 7th meeting of the Sustainable Aquaculture Technical Group under the Common Maritime Agenda for the Black Sea, where she presented the AlgaeRevive project. Her contribution highlighted: ▪️ algae-based approaches to improve water quality ▪️ mitigation of harmful algal blooms ▪️ monitoring methods for ecosystem health ▪️ opportunities for sustainable Blue Growth in the Black Sea region The meeting brought together experts and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, identify shared challenges, and explore innovation pathways for aquaculture development across the region. 📣 138 организации призовават – в контекста на „омнибус разпоредбата“ за опростяване в областта на безопасността на храните и фуражите – за по-строго и амбициозно прилагане на законодателството на ЕС за пестицидите, за да се защитят човешкото здраве и околната среда, като същевременно се гарантира, че производството на храни в Европа става по-устойчиво и по-устойчиво на кризи. 🌿 Регламентът за пестицидите (1107/2009) е крайъгълен камък в законодателството на ЕС. Той е създаден с цел да осигури приоритетно високо ниво на защита на човешкото здраве, здравето на животните, биологичното разнообразие и околната среда. В контекста на обилните научни доказателства за вредните ефекти на пестицидите върху човешкото здраве, биоразнообразието, качеството на почвите, водите и хранителния суверенитет, подчертаваме спешната необходимост от ефективното му прилагане. 🥕🌾🐞 Пълното прилагане на Директива 2009/128/ЕО относно устойчивата употреба на пестициди също е от ключово значение и отдавна закъсняло, за да се гарантира въвеждането на Интегрирано управление на вредителите, ангажирано с активна превенция и повишаване устойчивостта на земеделските системи.
