PROTECT THE AMAZON

TAKE ACTION TO

Protect Rainforests

The world’s tropical rainforests are the lungs of the planet — but they’re being pushed to a point of no return. We’re calling for at least $1 billion to protect and restore the Amazon, and urging countries to strengthen the land rights of Indigenous peoples, whose stewardship is essential to safeguarding nature.

TAKE ACTION TO

Stop Fossil Fuels

Without phasing out coal, oil, and gas, global climate goals are out of reach. We are advocating for countries to set clear timelines to phase out fossil fuels and commit to a future powered by renewable energy.

TAKE ACTION TO

Support Frontline Communities

Ending extreme poverty requires the world’s biggest emitters to support the hardest-hit communities. We are campaigning to ensure that those on the frontlines of climate change have the financial resources they need to adapt and thrive, and that polluters pay for the damage they cause.

Global Citizens have taken over 33.5 million actions since 2009. Today, these actions, in combination with high-level advocacy work, have led to over $43.6 billion being distributed to our partners around the world, impacting 1.29 billion lives in the fight to end extreme poverty.
