Introducing Nima Javanbakht, another valued Advisor for the Congress! Nima is a Senior RF Engineer at Sanmina Corporation and an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University since 2021. He previously served as a Research Intern at the National Research Council Canada and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electronics at Carleton University. With over 70 technical publications in journals and conference proceedings, Nima’s research spans antennas, wireless communications, miniaturized antennas, optical pluggable modules, integrated RF modules, frequency synthesizers, and flexible microwave sensors. A passionate IEEE volunteer, Nima has held numerous roles over the years. He currently serves as the IEEE Canada Young Professionals Chair and Patronage Lead, and is an active committee member in YP ComSoc, YP MTT-S, and IEEE Entrepreneurship. We’re excited to have Nima’s technical depth and leadership on our Advisory Committee!
