One of our favourite design-focused projects was helping Readwise create their first-of-its-kind reading app, where users can save, highlight, and read everything in one place. When we worked together, Readwise was already one of the fastest-growing consumer apps in the market, used to save and revisit highlights from Kindle, Pocket, Instapaper, iBooks, and more. We loved having the chance to design a new product with a team that already knew their users and pain points so well — and to see how our early designs helped lay the groundwork for the growth and success of the Reader app! Our impact on Readwise’s Reader:  📗 Designed powerful UX flows for highlighting, searching, and note-keeping. 📘 Established design system foundations that Readwise built upon. 📙 Tailored designs for both desktop and mobile reading experiences. After 1.5 years in private beta, thousands of testers, and continuous refinement, Reader launched in public beta to rave reviews. Users love the intuitive UX and power users finally have a tool that replaces multiple apps with one streamlined experience. In the couple of years since, the Readwise team has continued to ship new beta features and updates for Reader. Big thanks to Tristan Homsi, Daniel Doyon, and the entire Readwise team for trusting us in the early days of their new product. We partnered with Novi Connect to design and build their clean beauty platform, used by major retailers like SEPHORA and Ulta Beauty 🌿 Novi Connect helps beauty brands, retailers, suppliers, and manufacturers bring clean, sustainable products from raw materials to store shelves. Backed by Tiger Global and Greylock, Novi empowers product transparency, consumer trust, and values-based shopping throughout the industry. Project highlights:  - Designed and developed their retailer-brand portal, which became a major revenue driver. - Created a reusable UI component library and full design system. - Built features that enabled onboarding of large retailers and scaled their vetting engine to handle more complex compliance checks. - Reimagined their marketplace, analytics, and quoting tools. What made this partnership so special was seeing our work grow into something core to Novi’s success. Helping them scale to serve major retailers and drive innovation in clean beauty was incredibly rewarding. Can’t wait to see what’s next for them!

In our first project with Ribbon Health, we helped define their data platform’s core search experience and designed their unified provider data API. Backed by General Catalyst and Andreessen Horowitz, Ribbon Health’s seamless API layer integrates into existing healthcare workflows, ensuring reliable and up-to-date health plan provider data. Ribbon was recently acquired by H1 and joins their mission to connect the world with the right doctors through advanced data solutions 🤝 Project highlights: - Designed and built a top-notch search experience for finding care providers on Ribbon’s data platform - Leveraged design systems and components to enable Ribbon’s internal development team as they support clients going forward - Designed a self-service platform for users to unify Ribbon’s provider data We loved supporting the Ribbon team and the critical role they play in healthcare infrastructure. We can’t wait to see what’s next for them now that they’ve joined forces with H1 ❤️

Berachain is finally live! We're so glad we were able to support this highly anticipated mainnet launch. Berachain is an EVM-identical L1 blockchain powered by Proof of Liquidity, aligning security and liquidity at the protocol level. They’re backed by Brevan Howard Digital, Framework Ventures, Polychain Capital, and Hack VC. In 2021, we partnered with Shopify because we saw a huge opportunity for Shopify to dominate the e-commerce platform space. Our bet was that Shopify would be more cost efficient, scalable, reliable and overall a better product compared to Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, and others. That bet paid off! Shopify has been crushing these other platforms and winning over massive brands that are spending 1/5 of the cost for a better product. As they bring on more enterprise brands, they've trusted Lazer Technologies to work with most of their biggest clients. Lazer Technologies just got named a Platinum Tier Partner. Only 10 companies are awarded this title globally which include companies such as Oracle and Google. To become a Platinum Tier Partner, we had to fulfill Shopify's most rigorous thresholds including revenue we bring to Shopify, referrals we bring to Shopify, the size of enterprise brands we work with, and more.
