Starting Monday, October 27: - Confederation GO will officially open on the Lakeshore West Line, offering customers in Hamilton and Niagara more convenient access to GO rail service. - New rush hour trips coming to Lakeshore East, Barrie and Stouffville lines. - Plus, increased weekend trips to and from Niagara Falls starting November 1! Today we mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, an important day to reflect and learn about the history and impacts of the Indian Residential School System, and honour the survivors of the Indian Residential School System, their families and communities, and the children who didn’t make it home. On September 30, our frontline staff including station ambassadors, bus drivers, customer protection officers and revenue protection officers will also commemorate the day by wearing orange shirts or orange buttons.

As of September 15, a new pilot program means customers in five select Toronto and Ottawa neighbourhoods are able to access some PRESTO services like buying and loading a PRESTO card, and setting a fare type to a new card at their local No Frills. A new subway station for Scarborough is on the way! 🚆 With piling work now underway, major construction has officially begun on Scarborough Centre Station. It's the first of three new subway stations on the Line 2 subway extension to reach this milestone. The three new stations will see nearly 30,000 people pass through them during the morning commute. With convenient connections to local and regional bus and train lines at Scarborough Centre Station, it will ensure the heart of Scarborough is served by modern and reliable rapid transit.
