La différence entre un rêve et un projet c'est... la date ! Il y a un an, MFOUNDERS n’était encore qu’une intuition. Une conversation tardive sur WhatsApp, une envie partagée d’agir, et cette conviction que le Maroc avait besoin d’un véhicule dédié pour financer l’innovation dès ses premiers pas. En quelques heures, le nom était déposé, le site lancé, et l’annonce faite. Annoncé en juillet, lancé en octobre. Depuis, nous avons tenu le cap. Chez MFOUNDERS, on dit ce qu’on fait, on fait ce qu’on dit, et surtout, on montre ce qu’on a fait. Aujourd’hui, nous avons déjà cinq deals conclus. Et nous avançons avec un rythme soutenu d’un deal par mois, car les entrepreneurs accompagnés voient immédiatement notre valeur ajouté : nous sommes un bridge entre accélérateurs et première levée de fonds auprès de VC. Nous représentons une communauté de près de 100 membres, unie autour d’une même vision, et un objectif clair : atteindre les deux cent cinquante pour aller encore plus loin. Mais ce que je retiens surtout, c’est notre capacité à créer un collectif, là où les dynamiques sont souvent individualistes. Et plus encore, d’avoir réussi à activer un lien puissant avec la diaspora. 70% de nos membres vivent à l’étranger. Ce sont des entrepreneurs qui ont réussi à l’international, ou de grands cadres qui souhaitent se réinvestir dans des projets à impact. Ils se reconnectent avec leur pays à travers un projet qui a du sens, qui agit, qui avance. En seulement un an, nous avons structuré une équipe engagée à temps plein dans des locaux casablancais. Nous avons bâti un modèle de gouvernance clair, avec un lead investor sur chaque projet. Nous avons mis en place une mécanique qui permet à chaque investisseur de s’impliquer concrètement, pas seulement par le capital, mais par l’accompagnement, le mentorat, l’expérience. Et les entrepreneurs que nous soutenons nous le disent : au-delà des fonds levés, ce qu’ils viennent chercher chez nous, c’est une expertise, un regard, un engagement de long terme. Cette dynamique, nous la portons maintenant dans les villes clés de la diaspora. Ce matin, c’était à Casablanca. Demain, ce sera Paris, Genève, Londres, Dubaï, Montréal, New York, Boston.
