The UBC Centre for Migration Studies (CMS) is an interdisciplinary, collaborative research centre housed on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people. CMS promotes innovative research, graduate training, and community and policy outreach on issues of migration and mobility. We disseminate knowledge through seminars, lectures, conferences, workshops, and publications, and seek to expand institutional and individual connections between UBC and institutions in Canada and beyond, and between UBC and settlement sector agencies and community organizations in British Columbia.
CMS is part of the UBC Faculty of Arts.
