Calian Group’s Q3 results were announced this morning, underscoring the resilience of our business model and our ability to deliver when failure is not an option. As a mission-critical solutions company focused on defence, space, healthcare, and strategic critical infrastructure sectors, our defence solutions revenue grew by 12% in Q3, driven by strong momentum across Europe, the U.K., and early signs of growth in Canada. We also announced a $250 million increase to our Health Care Provider Recruitment contract with the Department of National Defence/Ministère de la défense nationale, which will further accelerate our growth in the coming years. Alongside these milestones, we completed the acquisition of Advanced Medical Solutions and welcomed Chris Pogue as President of Defence & Space. Guided by our mission and strong momentum, we will continue to accelerate mission success for our defence, space and health customers. Looking ahead, we remain confident in our trajectory, as evidenced by over $1 billion in new contract signings this year, including $642 million this quarter. Following our recent announcement on the joint interoperability testing initiative between the Government of British Columbia , the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), and Catena-X, we want to take a moment to highlight why this matters, how we’re doing it, and why you should get involved. 🔸 Why we do it Transparency, trust, and regulatory readiness are becoming critical requirements across all global supply chains. No single organization – public or private – can meet these demands alone. What’s needed is shared digital infrastructure that respects sovereignty, scales globally, and works across sectors. 🔸 Who is doing it Together, the three partners are testing real interoperability between complementary systems and governance models: ▪️ The Catena-X federated data ecosystem initiative for sovereign, secure, and interoperable data exchange across multi-tier value chains, to advance trust, traceability, and sustainability for the global automotive industry; and, ▪️ The Government of British Columbia’s implementation of the UN Transparency Protocol (#UNTP), a standard for data sharing currently being developed by the UN Centre for Trade Facilitation and eBusiness (UN/CEFACT), to digitalize B.C. Mine permit status for mining operators located in the province; and, ▪️ The Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) initiative for working and environmental conditions in global supply chains through common industry standards, assessments, and training, including the pilot implementation of UNTP for the electronics, electrical goods, and automotive parts sectors. MDA Space along with Centre de Technologies Avancées BRP - Université de Sherbrooke (CTA) and the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies successfully completed autonomous lunar surface demonstrations at the Canadian Space Agency last December. This week, the MDA Space-led team was selected by the Canadian Space Agency | Agence spatiale canadienne to conduct an early-phase study for Canada’s proposed Lunar Utility Vehicle (LUV). This collaboration combines MDA Space’s proven track record in mission-critical space systems, CTA's decades of experience in rugged off-road vehicle development, and UTIAS's leadership in advanced autonomy algorithms. The Pulsar Institute’s Career LaunchPad provides students from a variety of educational backgrounds with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to thrive in the expanding space sector.
