That’s a wrap! 🌿🌏 Ending a fantastic and important week here in Singapore, convening twenty-four Ministries of Health from across Asia and the Pacific — alongside global and regional experts, three levels of the World Health Organization, partners, and friends. 🌍 Climate health in action! Today in Nigeria🇳🇬, 84 climate resilient health facilities and schools were inaugurated in Kano and Jigwa States under the Climate Resilient Infrastructure for Basic Services (CRIBS) initiative. CRIBS is assessing and strengthening 🏥 healthcare centres and 🎒schools through climate adaptation measures. With the successful implementation of in Kano and Jigwa States, the initiative has been expanded further to include Bauchi, Enugu, Gombe, Kaduna and Katsina states. In a region where millions are affected by floods, droughts and extreme heat, climate-resilient infrastructure is life saving. 🎉 Congratulations to UK in Nigeria and UNICEF Nigeria for this successful initiative!
