𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 🤝 This week, the European Leagues was in Bratislava to support the Slovakian Union of Clubs, led by the Executive Director of the league and Board Member of our Association, Michal Mertinyak, in their domestic negotiations with the players’ union and the local Football Association as part of the new National Social Dialogue in professional football. 💬 Discussions focused on key issues that include: • Enhancing the national standard contract • Drafting a new trilateral Memorandum of Understanding between the social dialogue partners • Reviewing the National Dispute Resolution Chamber procedures in line with national law and new FIFA standards 🔗 Read More: https://lnkd.in/dpVdGz5D

𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 🗣️ Last week, the European Leagues Association participated in the OMC group on “𝗛𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁”, organised by the Council of the European Union under the EU Work Plan for Sport 2024–2027. The OMC group aims to provide non-binding recommendations to relevant stakeholders to combat online abuse and reduce occurrences of online hate speech in sport. 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 & 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐭 This week, the European Leagues Stadia, Safety & Security Task Force convened in Budapest alongside the UEFA Safety & Security Conference 2025. The Task Force held an internal meeting to strengthen collaboration between member leagues, address seasonal priorities and emerging risks, and define key strategic initiatives.
