The morning began with a serene Buddhist blessing ceremony, gracefully led by monks to bring peace and prosperity to our new home. We were honoured to have our CEO, Dr. Marc Pascal Fischer, preside over the ceremony and share an inspiring message for the journey ahead. 🙏✨ We were also delighted to welcome our valued partners, Steps and regroup architecture, who played key roles in shaping this inclusive and collaborative space. 🌿 Pear Chainares, Head of Inclusion Consultancy at Steps, has guided us in embedding inclusive workplace principles — with more collaboration to come through upcoming accessibility workshops. 🏗️ Lukas Guy Schnider, Director of regroup architecture, and his team have been with us since the very beginning, helping bring our Bangkok vision to life through thoughtful, sustainable design. The day concluded with heartfelt reflections from our Vice President Operations Asia Pacific, Franz Lingl, followed by our official opening moment — symbolising a bright new chapter for FutureLog Bangkok and the exciting path ahead. 💛 Above all, our biggest thanks go to our incredible team — the heart of FutureLog. 🇯🇵 Thank you, Japan once again! We came back from AHICE Far East Asia 2025 in Tokyo inspired — bringing home both the innovative spirit driving our industry forward and the cultural spirit that makes Japan unlike anywhere else in the world. One message stood out clearly: Japan is one of the most exciting hotel markets in the region, with strong performance and high investor confidence. We also heard the story of convergence: local operators looking outward to compete globally, while international brands and investors look inward, bringing expertise and fresh perspectives to Japan. Yet it’s not only about growth — it’s about balance. ✨ Omotenashi (おもてなし) is the Japanese art of selfless and anticipatory hospitality: genuine care and attention to detail, offered without expectation of reward. This sincerity and harmony are what make Japan such a beloved, repeat destination. At the same time, modernization is essential — moving away from legacy systems, addressing labour shortages, and creating workplaces that attract and empower the next generation. This shift won’t happen overnight, but it’s already underway — and technology will be a key enabler of both operational efficiency and workforce empowerment.
