Lab testing isn’t just diagnostics, it’s transformation !
At the Global Longevity Summit, Dr Craig Koniver from Vibrant Wellness told us the story of a patient / famous actor who came to his clinic at the pinnacle of his career.
From the outside, everything looked perfect : fame, success.
But inside, he was exhausted and without purpose.
No doctor had found anything “abnormal.”
Until one test changed the story.
His cortisol rhythm throughout the day was totally flat : no morning rise (no energy, no rhythm) & no decline at night.
He had no cortisol when he needed it, and too much cortisol when he didn’t.
To perform correctly, you need a cortisol peak in the morning to trigger focus, energy, and drive + a decline from late afternoon to allow recovery and restorative sleep.
If you’re feeling exhausted like this famous actor, you can check, among other tests, your cortisol cycle throughout the day.
Of course, it can also be many other things, so other tests might be needed depending on your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle.
“What works is using an aggregate of biomarkers, many data points over time; and understanding how they change, evolve, and react to interventions.” (Dr. Jennifer Pearlman MD CCFP NCMP FAARM ABAARM)
How to simply help restore your cortisol rhythm ?
- In the morning:
* expose yourself to natural light
* move your body
* hydrate with water and electrolytes like Hydratis
* eat a protein-rich breakfast
- In the afternoon and evening:
* reduce artificial & blue light exposure
* avoid stimulants
* slow down
* create a boundary between work and home
After treatment, the patient/actor felt driven again, motivated, and started enjoying playing again.
Lab testing doesn’t just “diagnose”, it reveals patterns.
Testing isn’t just diagnostics, it’s a journey toward awareness.
Dr. Gordon Crozier : “When patients move into a healthier lifestyle, they can improve their lab results, and their prognosis.”
Measure again. Improve more. Over and over.
Establishing a baseline allows us to visualize progress through re-testing.
Lab data creates objective proof of change and transformation.
