EPT2-HRRR delivers 24 forecasts per day across Europe, the first AI weather model to combine real-time refresh with local-scale precision. Built on Jua EPT2-RR’s breakthrough hourly global cycle, EPT2-HRRR brings that speed to the regional level, capturing the fine-scale terrain, wind, and cloud structures that drive European energy markets hour by hour. 🌀 5× finer spatial detail than EPT2-RR ⚡ 6× more frequent updates than ECMWF HRES ⏱️ minimal latency, forecasts ready before the next trading hour 📈 Validated on European weather stations, outperforming HRES in both wind and temperature accuracy Why it matters: Energy traders, grid operators, and utilities finally get what they’ve wanted for years. New model alert: EPT‑2 Reasoning, the most accurate weather model on the planet. We asked ourselves: what happens if we make EPT‑2 think harder? The result is something new. A weather model that reasons. A first step toward real-world simulation. EPT‑2 Reasoning beats everything else. And it's benchmarked against actual weather station data, not reanalysis. Up to 10% better than EPT‑2 Up to 20% better than the latest ECMWF IFS HRES (not the 2022 version others still benchmark against) Stronger than AI weather models like EC AIFS and Microsoft Aurora, by a wide margin. It's not just more accurate. It provides forecasts significantly faster, runs at higher spatial and temporal resolution, and is already powering real-world decisions for major utilities and leading commodity traders worldwide. From robotics to materials, from social systems to human behavior, they pushed the boundaries of what’s possible when physics meets intelligence. Co-hosted by NVIDIA, Jua, and Flexion Robotics, the first Zurich Builds Simulation Hackathon brought together the highest talent density we’ve ever seen.
