As workloads scale, traditional hardware can’t keep up. For Future of Computing, I spoke with co-founder Frédéric Loizeau about how Lightium uses thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) to make data transmission up to 4x faster and 4x more energy-efficient than conventional electrical links.
