Proton VPN’s first-ever outdoor campaign went live in early October, and although the campaign was only run in London, its message resonates globally. Seeing this campaign reminds me of the ways I try to stay connected no matter where I am. As an expat living in Barcelona, I often miss the UK, and something that helps me reconnect is watching Premier League and that's possible using our VPN. Proud of our team for taking privacy and digital freedom beyond borders and making it meaningful for people everywhere.

Want to know how privacy can save your life? This brilliant TEDx talk from Proton Foundation Member, Carissa Véliz, covers the consequences of not protecting your personal data, also exploring the answers to questions like: "how can we redesign the digital with ethics in mind?" https://lnkd.in/er4u9nwF

The team is ending the year with a bang; our first ever OOH and fully integrated campaign for Proton VPN! 🎉 We tapped into something all of us expats feel... missing home. Together with my partner‑in‑crime Gustavo Toselli Haag , we collaborated with creators across platforms to position Proton VPN not just as a tech product, but as a bridge back to the comforts of home. I know I speak for many Irish living abroad when I say that missing out on things like the GAA, the Late Late Toy Show and, need I mention, The Irish Traitors is simply not an option. Good thing you now know a great VPN to help with that! 😉 Well done to all the team involved in bringing this to life, not only across London, but across multiple channels and platforms!

Proton hat dies direkt geteilt
As I celebrate my recent one-year milestone at Proton (and move to sunny Barcelona), I wanted to share Proton VPN's first-ever 360 brand campaign (in London!), launched last month and developed with our creative agency partner, Uncommon Creative Studio. 🎉 To start, most people don’t think about a VPN as something you can *feel*. It’s usually seen as technical, invisible, utility-only. So *of course*, we set out to change that 🙋🏽♂️ 🌐 The campaign is centered around the idea of homesickness; the feeling of wanting to stay connected to the culture, content, and comfort of home, wherever you are. This helped make Proton VPN feel tangible and human, not just functional and technical. 🇬🇧 This was our first fully integrated campaign, which also included a wide outdoor rollout in London in addition to paid social, influencers, podcasts, and more (and with that lots and LOTS of learnings). 🤝 The campaign was a true cross-team collaboration as we took our "Stream Home Anywhere" creative message to our audience. This campaign worked not only because of our incredible marketing team, but a true partnership across the Proton org (product, data, research, leadership, legal, finance) who all helped shape it together. This is only the first (baby) step in bringing Proton’s mission of digital freedom further into the spotlight. And we’re just getting started. Looking forward to what comes next in 2026! 🙋🏽♂️ Thank you again to our awesome team whose inputs and efforts were valuable 👊🏽: Michelle Riband Oliver Lo Mark Schumacher Mike Stachurski Sarah Coppe David Peterson Morgane Leonardi Kimi Barra Antonio Cesarano Jacopo Martolini Samuele Kaplun Irina Marcopol Laurence Stoican Gustavo Toselli Haag Sarah O'Mahoney Alicia Valenski Jim Ray Edward Shone Vincent Darricarrere Carlos Lagorio, PhD Clement Chen

If you’ve seen a Proton VPN billboard around London lately, that’s us, doing something a little different than usual. Our first-ever outdoor campaign, ‘Stream Home Anywhere’, has been running since early October and is coming to an end soon. For years, we’ve grown mostly through word of mouth and a shared belief in privacy and internet freedom. Now we’re bridging the gap and reaching new audiences, made of people who aren’t yet aware that in many parts of the world, the internet is neither open, nor free. It’s a small step, but a meaningful one. A way to connect with people in a more personal way, and to extend Proton’s mission of protecting privacy, security, and digital freedom for everyone.

Ever wondered what’s lurking on the dark web? Stolen data is traded constantly, but most breaches go unreported. Our new tool surfaces that information, allowing you to stay ahead of breaches. Check it out 👇 https://lnkd.in/e4b_vEHN

Don’t share your sensitive files with Big Tech, unless you want sensitive data ending up in the hands of private companies, or leaked in Google searches. Proton Drive is integrated with Lumo, so that your files can be securely shared in just a few clicks, no upload required: lumo.proton.me
