      Productivity increase- 2X projectThe project focus was to increase the productivity of the production unit by improving standard processes, waste reduction, down time reduction, quality assurance, autonomous maintenance, implementation of 5’s etc; keeping the input constant like work force, machine hours, raw materials input, etc. 
 Aim: Productivity Increase
 The aim was to increase the production of sheetfed presses by optimizing SOP’s, downtime reduction, reducing turnaround time (TAT), better planning/ machine time…The project focus was to increase the productivity of the production unit by improving standard processes, waste reduction, down time reduction, quality assurance, autonomous maintenance, implementation of 5’s etc; keeping the input constant like work force, machine hours, raw materials input, etc. 
 Aim: Productivity Increase
 The aim was to increase the production of sheetfed presses by optimizing SOP’s, downtime reduction, reducing turnaround time (TAT), better planning/ machine time utilization.
 Action: Standard operating procedures were modified after rigorous analysis of the existing processes, like reducing make ready time and better color management. Motivating operators to take ownership of the jobs and making them more quality conscious. Training team members on 5’S and Autonomous maintenance to reduce downtime and waste reduction. Improved planning of machine time by implementing the JSS and WCC in-house made planning and scheduling softwares.
 Result: Net on pallet increase from 3300 impressions to 4000 impressions for sheetfed presses. Improved 5’S scores both internal and external audits. Reduced machine downtime and TAT due to implementation of autonomous maintenance.

      EBL (electron blocking layer development)–Development of two solution processed layer through spin coating. EBL is one of the most important layer on OLED stack and enabling solution processing of it will open gate for large scale, cheap production of OLEDs.

      Printing colorful OPVs–Printed colorful solar cells on paper using gravure and flexo printing process, a student project done in a group of 3 members. The color was imparted by finding naturally occurring colored active layer polymers. Also various colors were generated by intermixing polymers in various proportions.

      Investigation of variation in color from one paper to another when printed with one set of process colored inks.–The color variation depended greatly on the paper properties investigated. Like base color of paper, absorbency, porosity, roughness, moisture content, etc
